BigRoad in America’s Best Mannered City

robert_midwestWe are really starting to rack up the miles on the BigRoad pickup truck. After our stop in New Orleans, it’s been slowly winding its way back up north. The truck has made stops in Baton Rouge, Shreveport, Houston, Dallas, Tulsa, Kansas City, Omaha, Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Green Bay, Chicago and Peoria.

We stopped over in Peoria for the Mid-West Truck and Trailer Show, which was held February 6th and 7th. It was fantastic to once again be a part of this event. Not only were we exhibiting again, but this time we also presented two seminars about electronic logging.

The Mid-West Truck and Trailer show is hosted by the Mid-West Truckers Association, which represents over 3,000 members from 15 states. The show has been going for over 50 years and is one of the premier shows to learn about the latest innovations and products in the trucking industry.  This year’s show was very well attened. The many thousands of visitors that came through the doors made it the biggest and best attended show ever!

Over the course of the two days, we talked to hundreds of people and did a heck of a lot of BigRoad demos. Both our seminars on Friday and Saturday were filled with people wanting to know more about electronic logging and electronic logging devices (ELD).

We are seeing more and more people who want a better understanding of the changes ahead as the FMCSA’s proposed date of publication for the ELD specification draws close. To learn more about the ELD Mandate, download our free eBook. It covers the most commonly asked questions about ELDs and shows you how to best prepare for the upcoming changes.

We had a lot of fun and met a lot of great people in Peoria. Mark you calendars for next year’s event, February 5th & 6th, 2016. We’ll see you there!

Be sure to check out some of photos from the show. If you ever see the BigRoad pickup on it’s travels, send us a photo and we’ll add it to our Facebook page (but please, don’t try to take a picture while driving, of course).

BigRoad’s next event: Mid America Trucking Show, March 26-28th in Louisville, Kentucy.
